Turning Anticipation into Adventure
Since childhood, the creator of TMinustheDay has loved to celebrate. She delighted in bringing people together, finding every excuse to gather friends and family. Even a friend’s half-birthday was a reason for festivity. This instinct to savor life’s moments only grew with time, developing into a true calling once she became a mother of three.
As a mother, her home became a hub for joyful gatherings: from cookie decorating sessions to costume parties. Yet, for her, the magic of a celebration was never confined to the event itself, but in the planning and excitement of the days leading up to it.
It was during the whirlwind of planning her son’s wedding—an event meticulously orchestrated by his fiance—that the idea for TMinustheDay took shape. As the countdown to the big day began, she recognized that the days leading up to the wedding deserved celebration too. Therefore, she crafted a series of countdown cards—one for each of the fourteen days leading up to the wedding.
Each card included photos of the bride and groom, and messages that spoke to their shared journey. The cards marked a celebration, serving to brighten the bride’s day as she prepared for her wedding.
This gift, born from a mother’s love and a creative spirit, sparked the vision for TMinustheDay.
